About My Art

My love affair with art and equines began quite some time ago. Ever since I can remember, art has been an important part of my life, as have horses. As a kid if I wasn't riding, dreaming or reading about horses, I was drawing or painting them. I have won several awards for my paintings with equine themes. As an adult it was natural for me to follow a career in the print and graphic arts industry yet I continued my love affair with horses.

I have my Journeyman papers as a Lithographic Stripper working from the days when everything was done mechanically. When the creative aspect of that trade fizzled due to digital technology I went back to college and graduated into Graphic Art.  I worked in the industry for over 20 years when a new love entered my life, my daughter. At that point in time I chose to stay home and parent - freelancing, along with a few extra courses in marketing, has made that possible.

As a longtime horselover, owner, breeder and trainer, I have a good understanding of what makes an effective advertisement for your farm and your stock and know how important advertising is to a successful business. Having been involved with all aspects of the print business I have the technical knowledge necessary to create a design that works! Have a look at my extensive portfolio of published ads, logos, business cards, etc., then get in touch with me so we can discuss your advertising needs. I look forward to hearing from you!
